Decluttering for a new heat pump

It was a learning experience for me, and the more about air conditioning I heard, the better I understood the system

I am like a ferret when it comes to accumulating things, and every year or two, I have to reorganize my home to get rid of things I rarely or never use. Last year decluttering was not just creating more space and having a more organized house. It was also to add the money we got from the garage sale where I sold some of the items from the decluttering process to add to the money we had kept aside to buy a quality air conditioning system. According to the cooling specialist I talked to at the air conditioning business, the new cooling products would help with indoor comfort and solve our previous problems. When we came up with the idea of upgrading to new cooling technology, the choice was between two cooling equipment, but with the help of the air conditioning expert, we eventually settled on one. The air conditioning installation process was a day’s work, and there would be more than one a/c rep working inside and outside the house. We would eventually say goodbye to constant air conditioning repair. The techs would calculate the heating and cooling loads which consider our home’s location, age, size, and construction materials. They would also check the ductwork and determine if we would need to update the existing duct system or install a new one. Lucky for us, we knew from our regular air conditioning tune-up that the ducts were in good condition. The reason we settled for a heat pump was that it would both heat and cool our home. It was a learning experience for me, and the more about air conditioning I heard, the better I understood the system. I would still have to replace the air conditioning filter as I did with the previous unit.
