Austin was never the bright kid in school.
That was all his sister.
She got the best grades and always seemed to have a book in her face. Austin was the complete opposite in that he wasn’t fond of reading. He loved being outside in nature or under the hood of his old car fixing something. His mom always said he took after his grandpa who had been so skilled with his hands. She never once made Austin feel bad because he wasn’t book smart and loved both her kids equally. Towards the end of high school, Austin told his mom he was thinking of going to HVAC school instead of wasting time in college. They had a deep conversation about this and Austin explained his inspiration about going to HVAC school. It seems he had been speaking with the HVAC technician who came to service their unit for quite some time. The guy had been mentoring Austin and even told him about a great school where he could get his HVAC certification. Austin went ahead to HVAC school and worked as a HVAC technician for several years after completing his studies. He then went on to open an HVAC corporation which did so well. All this time his mom and sister were championing him and he became so successful. He had employed a whole host of HVAC technicians and covered a wide area in his state. On top of that, the HVAC corporation als did electrical and plumbing work in this location. After 15 years in business, Austin got an offer he couldn’t refuse and sold his business for a tidy sum of money.
