Neither of those are our thing at all, then many people do not care about stone or wood flooring and I am one of them.
I recently got radiant heated floors installed into our bathroom. I needed to do something about it being so cold there during the wintertime weeks of the year. I found out about radiant heated floors from a friend of mine and decided to take an opening and invest in them. While these radiant heated floors work really fantastic and have fixed the cold problem in our bathroom, I would not want to have our whole home covered in radiant heated floors! One room is great enough, and you see I care about our carpeting, and in order for the rest of the home to get radiant heated floors I would need to have all tile or all wood. Neither of those are our thing at all, then many people do not care about stone or wood flooring and I am one of them. My central heating and air conditioner does just wonderful heating the rest of our home. It was just that the bathroom had an issue because of the air flow from the lack of air vents in the bathroom area. Originally I was advocated to get heat and a/c zone control. But getting a zoned heating and air conditioner just for a one room issue would be silly and a waste of tons of money, then radiant heated floors alone for the bathroom were expensive, they did not cost as much as a zoned heating and air conditioner unit would have, but and I am quite ecstatic with my current central heating and air conditioner otherwise.
