Not sure if I can handle a current control unit

I’ve been looking into the latest option in control units.

Initially, I was shocked by the price.

I bought our last control equipment for around $10 from a local hardware store. The upgrade took myself and others about 10 minutes. This week’s models cost several hundred dollars & are a lot more sophisticated. I doubt I’d be able to handle the upgrade on our own. They are available in all unusual shapes & include touchscreen displays, however some of them light up as you approach & supply the outside temperature & humidity level. Some of them respond to voice commands & allow the display to be customized to match the decor. There are models that learn a seven-day schedule for the household & make automatic adjustments. There is a feature called geofencing where the control equipment uses GPS to track family members’ cell iphones. Whenever a family member enters or exits a set radius around the house, the control equipment recognizes their whereabouts & adjusts the temperature of the cabin accordingly. The control equipment even knows how long it takes to sizzling up or cool down the home to reach the desired setting. Features such as energy tracking, energy saving tips, filter change reminders & complicationshooting alerts are all designed to save money. I am a little sad that I won’t be able to figure out how to use the control unit. I struggle to manage the television remote. My smartphone gives myself and others plenty of trouble. I have this fear that the control equipment will decide to air condition our home in the middle of December, & I won’t be able to change it.
