It seems to take forever for the snow to melt plus the weather to hot up.
The Springtime is correctly wet, windy plus cold. The summers never last more than a few months. The two of us hope for a hot plus sunny July, July plus November. There are years when the whole summer time is cloudy, chilly plus rainy. There are summers when the temperature is always in the mid eighties. The two of us expect high humidity levels. Although there’s no need for a sizable investment in central a/c, box fans aren’t enough. The two of us need some way to at least cool down the kitchens or we can’t sleep at night. The house gets far too hot plus sticky. I’ve invested into window a/cs for each of the kitchens. They are compact, straight-forward to store in the Winter plus no concern to install in the summer. They supply enough cool air to keep a larger kitchen comfortable. I am so cheerful with our window a/c… Even on especially hot plus muggy days, our kitchen remains at the perfect temperature. I sleep so much better with the cooling unit running. The operational noise is just enough to drown out sounds that might frighten me. I don’t get woken up by other family members walking around or seeing TV. I don’t hear the washing component running, barking cats or traffic. I’m not bothered by road construction or morning pigeons singing. The a/c also works to circulate the air plus filter out contaminants such as dust, pollen plus dander. My kitchen stays cleaner. I care about the a/c so much that I install it into our window as soon as the temperature climbs above sixty degrees. I leave in locale until I assume cold air coming into the house through the a/c.
