I guess the modern club has an air conditioning machine vent right above the stage too, so it will make for some good times when I pound on the ducts plus dust moves out
I was genuinely doing standup comedy for the past 15 years on a regular basis but something changed significantly the last couple of years. I was truly wondering if it was because of the lockdown with Covid, or was I just getting very old? I don’t seem to have the motivation I used to have to push myself to jump on stage. I called my mom plus told her about it plus she told me to not get complacent or my dreams would become nothing. She knows how much I appreciated doing these comedy gigs plus was a bit sad when I told her I have essentially lost my way. I honestly still remember the way the musty outdated cooling machine smelled in the club where I would do a vast majority of my shows. At times, I would tap on the ductwork during my set plus a good amount of dust would fall onto the stage plus almost everyone would laugh about the situation. I miss connecting with people like that plus have now contacted various clubs about starting a daily show. I can’t just lay around at my residence every night listening to my cooling machine turn on plus off or I will go crazy. My mom is definitely right, just take the initiative plus move in the direction of your dreams plus they will positively come true.
