There was a shortage on air conditionings during intense Summer heat waves this year

I ended up getting an air conditioning about a month later, but it wasn’t cheap as well as I had to pay extra to avoid sitting on a waiting list for months on end

The weather trends in our area don’t look encouraging. I don’t have inherent cynicism about weather conditions change, but the record chopping temperatures in our country every year is enough to provide anyone anxiety. Usually the summers in our region are warm but moderate. The two of us rarely get temperatures over 85 degrees because of the drastic cold weather during Fall, winter, as well as early to mid Springtime. Many of us are used to focusing our attention on heating when it comes to indoor weather conditions control. There was a long time when it was still optional to go with air conditioning in these regions, but recent trends are decreasing that. This last year saw an intense Summer heat wave with some of the highest temperatures this area has ever seen. One major town in our state saw temperatures climb to 115 degrees one week! Naturally, there was a shortage of air conditionings once residents suddenly went out to buy them to escape from the warm temperatures. I heard about rampant deaths in some areas due to heat stroke, especially in senior citizens who don’t have any way to keep the heat down in their homes. And if they couldn’t even buy an air conditioning once they suddenly needed one, it was tragic hearing that some couldn’t survive the heatwave. I ended up getting an air conditioning about a month later, but it wasn’t cheap as well as I had to pay extra to avoid sitting on a waiting list for months on end. I hope that next year isn’t actually disappointing again with Summer temperatures, but that’s what the trends suggest. Climate change isn’t going to get better anytime soon as well as it’s tragic when you ponder the implications.
