I was really impressed when I went to have a movie night at my brother’s house.
Not only did he set up a really fancy movie theatre in his basement, but he upgraded his whole HVAC system.
Seriously, the man now has radiant heated floors throughout the home and a really fancy ductless mini split system. He has zone control throughout the house with his zoned HVAC system and he can control everything remotely with his smartphone. It was the middle of the winter when I went for the movie night though and he had the radiant heating working. I have to say, radiant heated floors are extremely comfortable and I couldn’t help but feel like I was missing out. My brother told me how amazing the radiant heated floors are not only because they are comfortable but because they save him a small fortune on his energy bills. He was telling me how the installation is pretty expensive, but it’s totally worth it with the energy savings. He told me to come back anytime and I said I definitely would. I have been going to his place practically every weekend. We always go to watch movies in his home movie theatre, but I’m mostly there to enjoy his radiant heated floors. I always make sure to bring drinks over and even a few snacks for everybody to enjoy. After experiencing radiant heated floors on all these occasions, I have made up my mind that I will be saving for radiant heated floors to be installed at my place of residence.
