It didn’t take too long to see that my contractor might not make it through the pandemic if I wasn’t able to get out to my customers.
The team and I had to deal with a lot of swings as a result of this health crisis. And we only have a team of about a dozen. I can’t imagine what larger firms had to contend with. Of course, we immediately closed the office with it’s fantastic zone controlled Heating, Ventilation, and A/C. All of us worked from apartment in our own air conditioner instead. By and large, we were able to maintain our contractor for the most part. But a substantial part of what we do is myself and others being onsite to supply and execute our services. So I spend a lot of time on planes. Well, even with the HEPA filters on planes, I wasn’t too keen on flying during this pandemic. Still, I couldn’t do what needed to be done from the comfort of my air conditioner at home. That’s why I had to pack up the car and hit the road like the traveling salesmen of old. It wasn’t all that poor really. The only thing was being away from apartment for weeks at a time. But my family understood that the contractor was on the line. What I did find quite pleasant was the sort of lodging choices I made. Instead of the high end downtown hotels, I went with the mid tier hotels somewhat out of neighborhood or near the interstate. They gave fantastic amenities with super disinfect rooms and a legitimately legitimate price. But the Heating, Ventilation, and A/C component was what actually sold me. Those air wall component air conditioners were the best. I’ve never had such consistent and powerful heating and cooling anywhere else.
