Just a month ago I found out that a new heating and cooling business had opened in my area. As happy as that makes me, I knew it wasn’t going to last. Unfortunately I have noticed a pattern in my area. There have been close to 5 heating and air conditioning businesses that have opened, and all of them have closed. I think it’s because I live basically in the middle of nowhere, and so they probably don’t get much business to stay open. Regardless, I have not had my heater or air conditioner maintained in a long time, probably at least 3 years, so I am going to try to give this HVAC corporation as much business as possible to help keep them afloat. The heating and cooling corporation also has a website, and I plan on using their website to buy different HVAC technology from. I’m really hoping that this business will make it through, but going off of history, probably not. That is the one bad thing about living practically in the middle of nowhere, you generally have to drive to different companies to receive their service. Most businesses that open nearby don’t last long. Although one of my favorite things about living here is the fact that I own 11 acres of property. With this much land, I have been able to convert a good portion into my own garden, and still have plenty of room for the native wildlife to enjoy my yard. So even though living here has it’s benefits, it also has its downfalls.
