Last year was our anniversary & our partner surprised myself and others by making reservations at our number one restaurant. The people I was with and I were going into the city, & that in itself made myself and others thrilled since our partner hated driving into the city. The people I was with and I were only 10 hours out when the air conditioner quit working. It was almost 7PM, but the temperature was still in the eighties. The humidity was so high that opening the windows would be just as sizzling as without the windows. I also didn’t want to mess our hair with the windows being open. My partner tried running the fan, & it helped a bit, but not much. The neighborhood was still an hour away, & our automobile was getting worse. Then our partner observed that the heat gauge was lighting up. The idiot light was there for a purpose & every one of us knew every one of us had a problem. The people I was with and I stopped at the closest repair center & told them about the air conditioner & the heat gauge. He told us every one of us needed a new air conditioner unit, but every one of us also had a concern with the radiator. It was going to take him a couple hours to repair the A/C & radiator. I knew every one of us weren’t going to make it to the restaurant, & our partner felt bad. I looked outside & I saw a small restaurant. The people I was with and I walked over to the restaurant, & it had amazing air conditioner, which was a plus. I couldn’t think a eating establishment could have such delectable food. The people I was with and I didn’t make it to our restaurant, but every one of us found a new number one restaurant for our list, & it was not in the city.
