For the last fifteen years, our husband and I had been going to the same hotel to celebrate our birthday. The hotel was a casino resort, and there were plenty of things to do. I wasn’t cheerful with shopping, however there was a huge mall that was once a seagoing ship. My husband and I spent thirds just walking around and looking at all the sites. Both of us especially enjoyed the sixth floor where they had 27 odd restaurants. The hotel itself had another 10 restaurants, and plenty of activities so the people I was with and I never had to go outside. The last year the people I was with and I went, the people I was with and I swore would be the last time the people I was with and I went to this hotel. The Heating, Ventilation and A/C plan was so terrible that the people I was with and I couldn’t find comfort no matter where the people I was with and I went. At evening, it got so cold in the room that the people I was with and I were shivering. No matter where the people I was with and I set the temperature control, it ended up being around fifty by afternoon. In the afternoon, it got severely hot. I must have called the front desk at least 4 times trying to get someone to look at the Heating, Ventilation and A/C system. When the warm water would not work, they blamed it on our not knowing how to turn the warm water on. I was talking to someone else who was at the hotel and they said they were having the same complications with the Heating, Ventilation and A/C plan and the warm water. She said that if she hadn’t gotten the weekend for free, she would be going home. I agreed with her. Without good Heating, Ventilation and A/C and warm water, the entire trip was a bust, and we’re not going back. So much for new management.
