For the last fifteen years, my spouse & I had been going to the same hotel to celebrate our birthday.
- The hotel was a casino resort, & there were plenty of things I like to do.
I wasn’t happy with shopping, but there was a immense mall that was once a seagoing ship. My spouse & I spent hours just walking around & looking at all the sites. The two of us especially loved the fourth floor where they had 27 odd steakhouses. The hotel itself had another 10 steakhouses, & plenty of activities so the two of us never had to go outside. The last year the two of us went, the two of us swore would be the last time the two of us made the decision to go to this hotel. The Heating, Ventilation & A/C proposal was so bad that the two of us couldn’t find comfort no matter where the two of us went. At night, it got so freezing in the room that the two of us were shivering. No matter where the two of us set the thermostat, it ended up being around fifty by morning. In the morning, it got seriously hot. I must have called the front desk at least four times trying to get someone to look at the Heating, Ventilation & A/C system. When the sizzling water wouldn’t work, they blamed it on my not knowing how to turn the sizzling water on. I was talking to someone else who was at the hotel & they said they were having the same problems with the Heating, Ventilation & A/C proposal & the sizzling water. She said that if she hadn’t gotten the weekend for free, she would be going home. I agreed with her. Without fantastic Heating, Ventilation & A/C & sizzling water, the entire trip was a bust, & we’re not going back. So much for new management.
