I met my wife online when both of us were playing video games.
There was legitimately no way that we would have known that we were in the same city, and we just happened to end up in the same game at the same time.
We started talking and she had the same kind of accent as me. When I asked her what state she lived in she said the same as mine. Our village was the same too. I thought she was joking around with me and I wondered how she knew where I was living. I found out that she lived about 3 miles away from our house. I rode a bike down to see her as soon as our game was over. We saw it and played video games together for a while. We dated for 6 months before I suggested we go away for the weekend together. I had reservations for us at a winter season retreat that included VIP access to the snow slopes. Our room was honestly nice too. It had a cool electric fireplace. The electric fireplace was easy to use. The electric fireplace had a lot of different colors and we could set the temperature or turn off the heat all together. In the day we enjoyed access to the snow slopes an hour before everyone else and we consistently had first access to the chairlift getting up to the top of the mountain. I had a honestly great time while we were away for the weekend and it was nice to leave the neighborhood for a couple of afternoons.
