It’s sort of difficult for myself and others to even say the words guest cottage.
The fact that I’m in the position to entirely have a guest cottage is nothing short of remarkable.
And while I’m so thankful, it still makes it difficult at times to honestly lean into this lifestyle. What we just spent on the residential Heating plus A/C in this beach house was what I put down on our first home. That place was a wreck plus didn’t even have residential Heating plus A/C but it was mine. And back then, that was honestly something. These mornings, I make less of the decisions when it comes to how we spend the cash. It all seems so ridiculous that while I’m involved plus write the checks, our wifey is the one who does the rest. She was the one to find this beach house as a matter of fact. And of course, we ended up ripping out so much stuff to remake the beach house the way she wanted it. That goes for the latest in residential Heating plus A/C plus all the requisite Heating plus A/C technology. There is a new home office with all the latest appliances plus stuff that looks love it’s right out of a commercial home office. But for me, it’s the guest cottage that I like. I had the Heating plus A/C business come out plus install a pair of ductless heat pumps in this little one living room space. It sort of reminds myself and others of our first house. I love to spend a fine bit of our time out here with the ductless heat pumps. This space is just more beautiful to myself and others because it’s simple love I am at our core. But the ductless heat pumps sure do make it recognize comfortable.
