My daughter came running into the house yesterday, and ran up to her bedroom.
She sounded upset when she passed by, so I followed her wondering what was wrong. When I got to her bedroom, she sat on her bed. I asked if she was okay? She told me the HVAC technician was outside working on the air conditioning unit. I already knew that and I needed to know what that had to do with her running to her bedroom. She said she was heading out back to get in the pool, and I hadn’t told her the HVAC tech was there. She told me he was young, and cute, and he saw her. I still didn’t know what had her upset, unless the HVAC technician did something to upset her? I asked if he had touched her or made some type of overture toward her. She looked at me and got snarky. ‘I wish!!!’ I got up to walk away, and she stopped me. She yelled and told me he saw her. I looked at her and I noticed she had her bathing suit on, so it shouldn’t have embarrassed her. She wore this bathing suit all the time when she was in the pool. She even wore it when we went to the beach on our family vacation last summer. I suddenly put two and two together, and realized the HVAC technician was cute, and she didn’t know he was in the backyard. When she walked out in her bikini, he either noticed and smiled, or didn’t notice at all. Either way, she was embarrassed to be outside when the cute HVAC technician arrived.
