I have struggled with my weight ever since I was a little kid. I blame it in part on my grandparents because they always indulged my desires at a young age, giving me candy and donuts whenever I asked for them. They were doing it out of love, but it set a bad precedent for the rest of my life. The bullying from being a “fat kid” was enough to give me deep trauma in my brain for the rest of my life. I think it made me so self-conscious in high school that it prevented me from having a normal romantic relationship. The same trend continued through college until I finally had enough at the age of 25. I didn’t want to be overweight and miserable any longer. After getting a control of my mental health, I immediately looked for a high rated, certified gym to get physically healthy and lose all of the extra weight at last. I started by going easy and trying to develop a workout plan of my own, but this was difficult. Struggling for a few weeks with little progress convinced me to ask for professional help. With the help of my personal trainer, I soon found the success I had been looking for my entire life. I lost 60 pounds and couldn’t believe the results when looking at myself in the mirror.
