It really is the little things in life that are so great right? The longer I live, the more I realize this simple, key fact of life.
And once again, I’ve realized such benefits from just a small change inside my home.
After years of tossing away the direct mailers I receive from the HVAC company, I finally took them up on ductwork cleaning. Actually, it was ductwork cleaning and ductwork resealing services the HVAC professionals performed on our residential HVAC. We’ve been in this house now for 12 years. When we bought the house, we had new HVAC equipment installed by the HVAC company. However, the ductwork was in great shape structurally so we were able to not have to deal with that added expense. Yet, I don’t think the HVAC air ducts were actually cleaned when the HVAC company installed the new heating and cooling equipment. Regardless, the HVAC air ducts definitely needed attention after more than a decade. That’s just a fact when it comes HVAC. So I finally took advantage of one of the coupons we received in the mail. And oh wow, our house is just so much better off having had ductwork cleaning and ductwork resealing. The air quality is better for sure and we’ve improved the efficiency of the HVAC unit as well. The ductwork resealing closed all the gaps that were leaking HVAC treated air from the ductwork. I couldn’t more fully recommend getting the ductwork cleaning and ductwork resealing done. I can tell you for sure that I won’t be waiting another dozen years to have this HVAC service completed again.
