It is now the 6th of July and I am having the cooling rep come over later today to take a look at my HVAC system to determine why it isn’t working so well anymore.
I think it may be dirty and could just need a good cleaning, or it could also need to be tuned up, but I will wait and let the HVAC expert tell me what he thinks. We have two more months of tourist season in my town and then it will all dry up and be quiet again here for the fall and winter. I just need my air conditioning to keep me cool till then and I will shut it down till December when the heat comes on again. The weather will start to shift in the middle of September to cooler days and then it will be moderate till December when the cold weather starts. I have a good gas heater as a backup in case the central heat stops working but I don’t think it will be a problem anymore because I have a newer unit and it seems to be working well, it’s just the cooling part I need to get fixed. It’s probably going to end up being a dirty condenser grill that is causing it to not cool as well as it has been a long time since I had it cleaned. The cooling tech is very good and I bet he will have it working the same day so I am not too worried about it. Everything works out in the end.
