My partner and I had a bunch of wedding money come in and we don’t guess what to use it for.
I am kind of leaning towards increasing the windows in our house.
I hate that the glass is fogged and gross looking. I believe the windows allow air to leak in and that affects our Heating & A/C method and utility bills. The windows look outdated and take away from the home too. I also can’t even open them to let in a fresh breeze and help our indoor air pollen levels. My partner is pushing a modern Heating & A/C method though. The Heating & A/C device is around 20 years outdated and is a central method. The indoor device takes up so much space in the hallway closet. My partner wants a ductless mini chop in every room of the home with a control unit. The people I was with and I could have zone control and free up that space in the house… Having set temperature zones would be cool. I could have A/C in the family room while I cook and my partner could love heating in the living room. The 2 of us don’t even share a room because we have vastly different temperature needs. I guess we would love our own device and control unit… Both the windows and current Heating & A/C device labor though. The people I was with and I don’t actually need to update either. The people I was with and I just want to. Which 1 is the priority though? Either upgrade will lower our utility bills. The decor of our home will change quite a bit with the upgrade too. The costs are similar as well.
