Last winter, right around the first of the year, our partner plus I spent almost more than two weeks traveling along the southern coats.

The two of us are accustomed to seriously chilly plus snowy conditions at that time of year. The two of us were happy for sunlight plus warmer temperatures. The two of us spent a lot of time on the road, visiting interesting sites, lying on the beach plus swimming in the ocean. The two of us only needed hotel rooms to sleep plus shower in. Bob plus I decided not to strain our budget on luxury accommodations. The two of us were lucky that most of the cheaper hotels were clean plus adequate for our needs. They gave plenty of hot water, fairly comfortable beds plus working a/c. However, we ended up in one hotel that was just terrible. Bob plus I realized we had a concern when he stepped off the elevator. The hallway reeked of cat, cigarettes plus mildew. Inside the hotel room, the carpet was stained plus there were webs in the corners. The desk was dusty, the tub rust stained plus the faucet dripped. The two of us just needed a quick sleep before he got back on the road first thing in the morning. The two of us discovered that the mattress was lumpy, the sheets scratchy plus the pillows had a odd odor to them. The room was boiling plus stuffy because of the ancient a/c. The cooling unit was dented, corroded plus dirty. Our only choices for adjustment were on or off plus switching between heating plus cooling. The two of us set it on cooling mode however the unit didn’t put out enough air to make much difference.
