It was nice being able to start laboring in my beach condo office full-time, but there were some issues, and my office was on the far side of the condo where the insulation wasn’t so great, however this made it so the uneven temperatures were consistently uneven on that area of the condo plus the office was pretty uncomfortable because of this! I ended up laboring on adding extra insulation in the walls plus in the attic space above my office.
This undoubtedly helped a great deal in keeping my office toasty while I was laboring; but still, it wasn’t quite enough, so I decided to use a portable oil furnace in my office.
I appreciate the little portable oil furnace I have because I can adjust the temperature control settings exactly where I want them instead of just having a high plus low setting. Those types of gas furnaces have consistently been bothersome because even on the low setting, they can start to make a room supposedly overheated. That means you have to shut them off instead of just lowering the temperature control setting. Later on, I decided to have a heating, ventilation as well as A/C professional come out plus she said that she thought it wasn’t overheated enough in my office because the HVAC duct seemed to be jammed up. This was something that I never thought of plus she talked about doing a HVAC duct cleaning for me. I was quick to agree to the heating, ventilation as well as A/C service plus then she took out the heavy duty vacuuming tools, and when the HVAC duct was cleaned all around the house, hastily the heating was much more robust in my office area. I didn’t even have to use the portable oil furnace any longer.
