I can’t say as I blame our oldest at all for her plan.
What I’m just so amazed by is the fact that she honestly thought it through and came with solutions. She didn’t just come to us with a request. That made it just that much easier to say yes. My kid wanted to convert the attic space to a kitchen for him. The attic didn’t have any heating and cooling but it was finished off with drywall. I guess the previous owner had the same system as our kid, and however, our kid had a proposal for the heating and cooling. The kid has had to deal with numerous siblings for a long time. He’s been sizable sister to all of them. Now that the women are getting older, they’re sort of taking over. Hence the system for the kitchen. So our kid came to us with her plan. She had run the numbers and had about half the cost of a ductless heat pump in savings from her grass mowing venture. The kid makes great money and is sought after in the city. Anway, the people I was with and I could get the ductless heat pump installed. There were already electrical outlets up there and she had a line on a rug to cover the floor. There wasn’t much that she needed from us other than help with the rest of the cost on the ductless heat pump. My fiance and I were sort of blown away by our daughter. This was such a satisfactory thing and she was just so grown up about it. Of course, the people I was with and I got the ductless heat pump and the attic is now an awesome room for our girl. And no, the people I was with and I didn’t tap her savings account for half the ductless heat pump.
