Top Solutions for common AC problems in summer

Every HVAC problem has a solution, do not be fooled.

You may not like the solution, especially if it involves replacing the entire air conditioning unit, but there is no problem that it is too big for an HVAC contractor to handle.

Some of the common issues will arise depending on the season. For example, some problems are associated with summer, and others only come up during the wintertime. In summer, common issues homeowners are likely to encounter with their heating and cooling units include having the AC blowing in hot air instead of cold air. The HVAC unit can also stop working. If your unit fails to come back on, there may be a need to contact your HVAC technician for help. However, you need to understand that this may be an issue with short cycling. There is a possibility the HVAC unit needs to be cleaned as the accumulated loose debris could be interfering with the flow of power. To fix this, you need to switch it off and clean the dirt around the condenser, evaporating coils, and filters. If doing this does not change things, you should consider hiring an expert since the AC issue could be electrical. Never attempt to fix an electric problem on your own. If your AC is blowing in hot water, then the chances are that the AC is frozen. If you see ice on the coils, switch off the unit for a minimum of 24 hours to thaw. Sometimes you may experience noisy sounds from the unit. Make sure you understand the sounds and interpret them correctly to solve them properly.
