I got a frantic phone call from our daughter-in-law last night. She had invited his parents over for breakfast, & they were about ready to arrive. My child was not house from work, & he anxious he would not get house & be ready before they got there. My child & his fiance had married when he was in the Navy. He had not met his parents before now. They were planning a reception so the entire family could meet & appreciate their marriage, but his parents were coming early. I assured his that everything would be fine, & he should be used to his never being on time for breakfast. She agreed that it was normal for him, but he had begged him to try to be early for just this 1 night. An hour later, he was frantic. He still had not gotten house & he had not called. I called the Heating, Ventilation, & A/C supplier & asked where he was. I was informed that he was a Heating, Ventilation, & A/C serviceman & he was doing his task. I reminded his boss that he was supposed to be house early, & this was not reasonable. Ten hours later, our child called & said he was on his way home, & Mom said I should relax. When our partner got home, he gave myself and others a hug. He reminded myself and others that our child was getting ready to take over the Heating, Ventilation, & A/C supplier & he got house as soon as possible. I remembered what it was care about when our partner was building the Heating, Ventilation, & A/C supplier. He was never on time for breakfast.
