During the rest of the year, I am constantly tied up as a high university lecturer.
When I am not in a classroom, I am at house planning for the month of classes. It takes many hours of planning every month to be a fantastic lecturer as well as give official lessons to the students. When the Summer season begins, I relax as well as put up our feet. I use the Summer months 4 activities that I find fun as well as enjoyable. One of those activities is baking. Baking cookies was something that I did with our mom when I was a little girl. Even after she passed away, I continued with the cookie baking tradition. I make pecan sandies, chocolate chip cookies, as well as filled raisin cookies. My husband prefers the Summer months, because he regularly has fresh as well as tasty treats for work. Last year I made a double batch of chocolate cookies with mint pretzels. The heat from the oven filled the house as well as the air conditioning was laboring overtime. I had sweat pouring down the side of our face. Halfway through making the cookies, I noticed that the temperature in the family room was getting warmer as well as warmer. Since the oven was running, the air conditioning was laboring twice as hard to keep up with the demand. I decided to bring a circulating fan from the kitchen into the family room. With the oven running all day, the air conditioning was having trouble. The kitchen fan definitely managed to help the indoor air situation.
