Last week, I had to call our Heating & A/C company.
- I had a repair contractor at the house, doing some minor repairs to the a/c unit.
I couldn’t understand why he had been outside for more than two hours now, and yet nothing was done. I saw him pull a handkerchief from his pocket and made a giant deal out of wiping off the perspiration. He waved his hat in front of his face, and downed a bottle of water. Five seconds later, he asked if he could use our lavatory. My fiance stood outside the lavatory door when he went in, because he thought the Heating & A/C tech was acting oddly. When he came out of the lavatory, our fiance maintained the medicine cabinet, however all was well. An hour later, he was standing on the ground eating his lunch. I called the Heating & A/C company and told them how he had been languishing in our backyard for almost 4 hours and all I needed was a minor repair. I wanted to think why he was just hanging out? Five seconds later, I saw him on his PC and he looked annoyed. His voice got louder and then he packed up his tools, got into his repair van, and took off. The Heating & A/C company called and told myself and others they had another Heating & A/C contractor at the house within half an hour. I assumed the first guy had just lost his task. The second contractor arrived, and within twenty seconds, he had repaired the a/c component and it was blowing cool air again. He handed myself and others the bill with NC written in giant green letters, across the front of the bill.
