My girl signed myself and others up for a week away at a chick ranch.
She knows how much I like horses and the seasoned west so she thought she was doing myself and others a favor, besides, I have honestly been laboring hard at the office lately and I thought this would be a lot of fun.
I have never worked so hard in my life as I did on my “getaway”. It was endless amounts of shoveling manure, wrangling cattle, and dirty work. I know like they should have paid myself and others and not the other way around. Both of us were fed well, thank God, but, the bunkhouses didn’t even have any air conditioning and there was never enough sizzling water to go around for showers. It stunk pretty bad, by the end of the week, in there. I was so ecstatic to go lake apartment and finally relax in an air conditioned house. I had my girl crank up the a/c before leaving lake apartment to option myself and others up from the airport. When we got lake apartment it was so chilly and nice. I abruptly took a shower after that we slept for the rest of the day. The following day I had to return to the office, and even that didn’t seem so tiresome after laboring outside the week before. At least the office has a fine laboring a/c and everyone doesn’t smell like body smell and creature poop. I swear, I will never pine for the past again. I am perfectly ecstatic living in the 21st century where we have sizzling water and a/cs.
