The Winter weeks are our absolute number one… Living in a moderate temperature, I get sleepy of the unbearable heat that plagues our area for most of the year, then for the multiple weeks when Winter arrives, I am in pure paradise… I spend the majority of our time outside, enjoying a brisk run, bike ride or hike in the nearby park.
In the summer time weeks, I am usually cooped up inside of our home sitting as close as I can to an air vent to believe some cool air conditioner.
At the same time, there are some evenings where things can get a bit cold. At these times, I am so grateful for our heater, which I could not live without during those especially chilly evenings, but since I do live in a hot place, I do not use our heating system for the majority of the year, which is both a blessing plus a curse. It’s good that I can save cash by not having to crank our heat up during most of the winter, but not using it often means there is a higher opportunity of the heating system facing problems in the winter. For instance, last winter, after not having used our heating system for 9 weeks, the component hastily would not function, having run into a complex mechanical issue. I had to call up a local Heating as well as A/C corporation to come in plus take a look! The issue took a month to solve, in which I had to sleepover at a friend’s place, needless to say, our heating system is good when functioning!
