The Winter weeks are our absolute preferred… Living in a boiling weather conditions, I get sleepy of the unbearable heat that plagues our section for most of the year; For the many weeks when Winter arrives, I am in pure paradise. I spend the majority of our time outside, enjoying a brisk run, bike ride or hike in the nearby park. In the Summer weeks, I am usually cooped up inside of our lake home resting as close as I can to an air vent to believe some cool air conditioner… At the same time, there are some evenings where things can get a bit cold. At these times, I am so grateful for our heater, which I couldn’t live without during those especially cold evenings, and since I do live in a tepid place, I don’t use our gas furnace for the majority of the year, which is both a blessing plus a curse. It’s superb that I can save currency by not having to crank our heat up during most of the winter, however not using it often means there is a higher opening of the gas furnace facing complications in the winter. For instance, last winter, after not having used our gas furnace for 9 weeks, the machine hastily would not function, having run into a complex mechanical issue. I had to call up a local Heating, Ventilation plus A/C professional to come in plus take a look, but the issue took a week to solve, in which I had to sleepover at a friend’s place, however needless to say, our gas furnace is superb when functioning!
