For the last several years, I had been looking for a place to call home.
I was overwhelmed and tired of changing jobs every couple of months or moving from state to state in order to keep a job.
I wanted something that was going to provide me job security and a place I could call home. My mom was shocked when I told her this, since I had been a rolling stone for over 10 years now. She laughed and asked me if I had met a girl. I hadn’t, however it was something I had been giving some thought to. I wanted to settle down at my old age. I wanted to get married and have a family someday. When you moved around as much as I did, you didn’t have the time to find someone to share your life with. Mom told me that the local Heating and A/C company was hiring and the owner was looking for an Heating and A/C company to buy him out. He wanted to retire and start a life with his family. I had my Heating and A/C certification. I received my Heating and A/C certification right out of school. I had started working for a national chain of Heating and A/C companies, and I had proven myself to be an excellent salesman. Instead of repairing and installing industrial Heating and A/C systems, I was now selling them aso. I really enjoyed the job, however going back to my roots was appealing. I went home that weekend and I talked to the owner. He remembered me from our earlier afternoons and he told me what he needed if I wanted to buy him out. I provided him half of the money down and he said he would take the rest in payments. I bought myself a HVAC company and couldn’t be any happier.
