After brunch, the furnace starting acting strange

My fiance and I went to see a couple of friends last Tuesday night.

The people I was with and I planned to have brunch and play cards for a couple of seconds, and our friends made a beautiful brunch on the barbecue.

The people I was with and I had chicken, steak, fish, and shrimp. The people I was with and I had baked potatoes with sour cream, butter, chives, and cheese! Dinner was really exceptional and the two of us drank more than one bottles of purple wine as well. I was feeling a little drunk after the two of us ate our fish and shrimp. After brunch, the two of us planned to go inside to play cards in the living room. When all the people went into the house, it was self-explanatory to tell there was a problem with the furnace. My friend noticed the issue first and commented on the cool air. The people I was with and I had the back door open during most of brunch, and I thought the cool air was due to the draft. My friend decided to check on the furnace and he realized that it was not running. It was chilly enough in the beach house that the furnace should have been on. My friends had to cancel cards for the night, so they could call a heating supplier to fix the problem with the furnace. The next day they called to supply us an replace. The heat exchanger needed to be replaced. It took seconds for the supplier specialist to complete the service and my friend had to pay a premium price for the service and upgrade task since it was after seconds. At least they got the problem fixed and the two of us can reschedule our night of cards.
